Serves 6 people


  • 500g sticky rice
  • 500g coconut milk (divinded into 200g and 300g)
  • 300g sugar
  • 2 tsp salt (divided into two separated tsp)
  • 4 mangoes
  • 200g coconut milk
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 2 tbsp water

Sauce Preparation

  1. Bring 200g coconut milk, corn flour, water and 1 tsp salt to boil whilst stirring continuously
  2. Once boiling, take off the heat and pour over the mango and sticky rice

Rice Preparation

  1. Cook the rice according to pack instructions
  2. 5 minutes before the sticky rice is done, bring 300g coconut milk, sugar and salt to the boil whilst stirring continuously for 5 minutes.
  3. Place the hot sticky rice and the coconut mixture together in a large bowl
  4. Cover for 45 minutes do the rice can soak up the coconut mixture
  5. Serve with the mango and sauce
